Microbus plunges into Hatirjheel lake, no casualties

A microbus plunged into Hatirjheel lake in the capital on Saturday morning.

Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters sources said the microbus fell into the lake breaking the railing of a bridge around 10 am.

However, no casualties were reported.

The driver managed to come out of the vehicle, according to a UNB report.

On information, two fire-fighting units rushed to the spot and pulled the vehicle out of the lake around 12pm.
