Police recovered the hanging body of a man from Pashapol village under Chowghaachha upazila in Jashore on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Madhu, 52, son of late Bashir Ullah and a resident of the village.
Shafiqul Islam, in-charge of Dashpakia police camp, said locals found the body of Madhu hanging from a jackfruit tree beside his house around 11:00am and informed police.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Jashore General Hospital, reports UNB.
