The body of a man was recovered from Tambru along the Bangladesh-Myanmar border in Naikhongchhari upazila of Bandarban on Tuesday night.
Police recovered the body lying 500 yards inside the zero point with the help of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), said Anwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Naikhongchhari Police Station.
The body was taken to Ghumdum police camp, according to a UNB report.
OC Hossain said they suspected that the man might have been killed in a mine explosion a day or two ago.
