Magistrate suspends five teachers for negligence of duty at SSC exam halls

Five assistant teachers of different schools in Matlab South upazila of Chandpur were suspended by executive magistrate for negligence of duty in the SSC examinations on Saturday.

They were performing their duties at the exam halls at Matlab J B Pilot High School Centre when Bengali 2nd paper exam was held.

The teachers are Md Khorshed Alam Majumder and Khokan Chandra Majumder- assistant teachers of Kalikapur High School, Md Billal Hossain, assistant teacher of Narayanpur Popular High School, Md Jahirul Islam, assistant teacher of Lakshibour Feroza Begum High school and Mizanur Rahman, assistant teacher of Aswinpur High School- all under Matlab South Upazila.

UNB said citing Md Borhanuddin Khan, headmaster of the school and also centre secretary, said the teachers were suspended from the exam duty by executive magistrate Assistant Commissioner (Land) Irin Akter for negligence of duties.
