Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a statement issued on Friday morning.
The depression over the south-west Bay and adjoining area moved north-westwards weakened into a well-marked low over north Tamilnadu and the adjoining areas, it said, adding that it is likely to move in a west-northwesterly direction further and weaken gradually.
Night temperature may rise slightly while the day temperature may fall by (1-2)° C over the country, it said.
