Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, & Sylhet divisions on Saturday and Sunday, according to a met office 24-hour forecast.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a statement issued on Saturday morning that the well-marked low over north Tamilnadu & adjoining area weakened into a low pressure area over the same area. Trough of low lies over North Bay.
A low-pressure area is likely to form over Andaman Sea during the next 24 hours, the met office forecast stated.
Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, the forecast mentioned.
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may fall by (1-3)° Celsius over the country, it added.
