AHM Moazzem Hossain, editor and publisher of The Financial Express (FE), passed away at a Dhaka city hospital on Wednesday, August 01, 2018, leaving an irreparable loss for the media industry. His being at the helm of the specialised daily since its inception has not only established it as one of the most popular newspapers in the country, but also made it a trusted media outlet. His death sent a shockwave throughout the media. Profound tributes poured in from different strata of life, including senior politicians, business leaders, economists and journalists.
