A prison guard has been detained with 328 yaba pills in his possession at Kashimpur Central Jail-1 of Gazipur.
The detainee was identified as Pintu Miah, reports UNB.
Officer-in-Charge of Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) Konabari police station Abu Siddique confirmed the news to the news agency.
"On-duty jailer Atiqur Rahman searched Pintu on suspicion as he was entering the jail complex, when he found 328 pills of yaba from the left pocket of Pintu's pant," the OC said.
Later Pintu was handed over to police, he added.
He also said that a case has been filed under the narcotics act against Pintu.
