CHATTOGRAM: The workers of Amin Jute Mills Limited, a state-owned jute mill, staged a demonstration on Wednesday demanding payment of all dues immediately.
The workers held a protest rally at the Amin Jute Mill area in the port city around 11 am today (Wednesday). The agitated workers also brought out a red flag procession and chanted slogans demanding their dues.
They said even though the government closed the Amin Jute Mills in July, 2020, the authority is yet to pay dues to the workers.
As a result, the workers with their family members are going through a very difficult time, they added.
