A four-day Inter-Service Qirat and Azan competition began on Tuesday at the central mosque of Bangladesh Air Force in the capital on Tuesday.
Major General Md Abu Sayed Siddique, SPP, afwc, psc, PhD, Master General of Ordinance, Bangladesh Army, inaugurated the competition as the chief guest.
A total of 30 members from Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Forces are taking part in the contest, said a media release.
Senior officers from Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force, among others, were present at the opening ceremony.
