Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited provided scholarship to underprivileged meritorious students through its Chittagong North and South Zones Friday at the North Zone Auditorium of the bank in Chittagong.
Major General (Retd.) Engr. Abdul Matin, Chairman, Executive Committee of the Bank was present in the function as the Chief Guest.
Prof. Dr. Md Nazmul Hassan and Prof. Md. Sirajul Karim, Directors of the Bank were present as Special Guests.
Md Abdul Hamid Miah, Managing Director and CEO of IBBL chaired the event.
Md. Mostafizur Rahman Siddiquee, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Chittagong north Zone addressed the welcome speech. Mohammed Monirul Moula and JQM Habibullah, Deputy Managing Directors, Jafar Alam, Senior Executive Vice President, Md. Siddiqur Rahman and Md. Nizamul Haque, Executive Vice Presidents, executives of the Bank, students and their guardians attended the programme, said a statement.
