Hungary refuses to take 5,000 vaccine doses offered by Bangladesh

Hungary has refused to take five thousand doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines offered by Bangladesh as a token of gratitude.

The foreign ministry of Hungary gave the information without making any comments on the reason, Hungary Today reported on Thursday.

“We thanked them for the offer, but will not accept it,” it said.

Bangladesh offered 5,000 vaccine doses to Hungary in gratitude for five hundred burn and restorative plastic surgeries performed pro bono by Hungarian doctors of the Action For Defenceless People Foundation, as well as the successful separation of Siamese twins, Rabeya and Rokaiya.
