The authorities have deferred the HSC examinations of finance, banking and insurance second paper in Dhaka and Jashore boards after two centres in Faridpur and Khulna mistakenly opened packets of question papers.
The examinations, which had been scheduled for April 29 or Monday, will now be held in the two boards at 2pm on May 7, according to inter-board coordination subcommittee chief Professor Muhammad Ziaul Haque, reports bdnews24.com.
The finance, banking and insurance second paper examinations in other boards will be held as per the schedule at 10am on Monday, the official told bdnews24.com on Sunday.
Monday’s exams of other papers in all boards will also be held as scheduled, he added.
An envelope containing multiple choice question papers of finance, banking and insurance second paper was mistakenly opened at Alfadanga Government College centre in Faridpur on Sunday.
The same thing happened at Kapilmuni College centre in Khulna’s Paikgachha, Ziaul said.
