Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has left Dhaka for Myanmar to discuss about Rohingya crisis.

A 12-member delegation led by the minister left Dhaka through a Bangladesh Biman flight around 12:45pm on Monday.

Inspector of Armed Police Battalion's airport unit Iqbal Hossain confirmed about their departure.

The delegation includes two secretaries, the inspector general of police, the director general of the coast guard, the director general of the drug regulation agency and other top ministry officials.

Two agreements on border security with Myanmar are expected to be signed during this visit, reports a local media quoting Home Ministry's Public Relations Officer Sharif Mahmud Apu.

Earlier, Home Minister said that he will sit with the Myanmar government officials to talk about the 'quick repatriation' of Rohingyas.

Over half a million members of the minority cross the border into Bangladesh since the start of a military crackdown on August 25.

Another 400,000 Rohingyas had taking refuge in Bangladesh for the past few decades, prior to the recent influx.
