The High Court (HC) is set to resume hearing on anticipatory bail petitions on August 22, said a top court notification.
Directed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, The Supreme Court authorities issued the notification in this regard on Tuesday.
The anticipatory bail hearing will be held in the concerned criminal motion bench of the High Court Division from August 22 in compliance with health rules and necessary safety measures, the notification said.
The concerned criminal motion bench will also fix the time of hearing to this end, it said.
Such bail hearing has been closed for a long time due to the Covid-19 crisis, the notification added.
