Hawkers in their hundreds briefly took position at the intersection of Purana Paltan in Dhaka city on Sunday morning demanding their rehabilitation before eviction.
In between their demonstrations for 15 minutes, they moved away from the intersection a few times, letting the traffic ply a bit.
The hawkers left the scene completely around 11:45 am after starting to gather there at around 11:30 am.
