The government is set to issue gazette notification soon as it has finalised national building code.
Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said this on Sunday in the capital.
“The government will soon publish the notification on Bangladesh National Building Code,” he said.
The minister was speaking at a programme titled “Recent earthquake-related researches and activity in Bangladesh” at a city hotel.
Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkhya (RAJUK) organised the event under its earthquake resilience project.
