Health Minister Mohammed Nasim has said the government will bear the treatment costs of students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College, who were injured in Sunday’s road mishap.
“I am assuring the family of the inured students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College that the government would bear the costs of their treatment,” the minister said on Monday, reports BSS.
Following the directive of the minister, Additional Director General of Directorate General of Health Services Dr Enayet Hussain visited the hospitals on Monday to see the injured students and enquired about their treatment.
Two students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College were killed and ten others were injured as a speedy bus of Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan hit them as they were waiting beside road to catch transport after college.
