Brandon Stanton started a photography project since 2010.The goal of the project came with a view to interviewing 10,000 residents of New York City and share it with the world. That is how the “Humans of New York (HONY)” was born.
It has expanded to feature different stories from over twenty countries in five years . This project was also featured in two bestselling books: Humans of New York and Humans of New York: Stories.

Most of his posts focus on covering the stories of poor people living in rural areas.
One of his social good works can be mentioned here that he collects funds by using Face book post from donors to help over six hundred Rohingya families.
According to his Facebook page, he went to the refugee camps in a bid to help the Rohingya refugees. His motto is to help mainly women with children, older women, and children who lost their parents.
Mr. Akash is indeed one of our nation’s greatest ambassadors who achieved a hundred international awards.
