Bangladeshi drug firm Globe Biotech has planned to release its homegrown coronavirus vaccine ‘BANCOVID’ in the country by early next year.
To execute the plan, it sought necessary government supports including ethical approval to start clinical trials here.
At a press briefing over its successful animal model experiments or preclinical trials, Globe Biotech chairman Harunur Rashid disclosed this at a hotel in Dhaka on Monday.
