Gazette over new cabinet published

The Cabinet Division on Monday published a gazette over appointment of the 47-member cabinet immediately after its members took oath at Bangabhaban.

The outgoing cabinet got abolished with the publication of the gazette, reports UNB.

There are 24 ministers, 19 state ministers and three deputy ministers in the new cabinet, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, constituted following Awami League's landslide victory in the 11th parliamentary election held on December 30, 2018.

Awami League President Sheikh Hasina took oath as Prime Minister of the country for the 3rd consecutive term along with her 46 cabinet members.

President Abdul Hamid administered the oath to the Prime Minister at 3:40 pm while to 24 ministers at 3:46 pm, to 19 state ministers at 3:53 pm and to three deputy ministers at 3:57 pm at Bangabhaban.

Through the oath taking of new ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers, the country got a new cabinet with its all members from Awami League after 1973 while Sheikh Hasina became the Prime Minister for the record fourth time.
