A fire broke out at a furniture factory on Santarkul Road in the capital Dhaka’s North Badda on Tuesday noon.
The fire that took place around 12 noon was brought under control around 1:00pm, according to the media cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Four units of firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control. They, however, could not determine the cause of the fire immediately.
The blaze destroyed all the furniture on the second and third floor of the three-storey factory building.
