Some 354.29 million (exact figure 35, 42, 90,162) textbooks are being distributed among the students of primary to intermediate-level across the country in 2018 academic year.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid distributed books at the complex of Azimpur Girls' School and College at 10:00am while Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman provided free text books among the students at Dhaka University Playground, reports a news agency.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally inaugurated the distribution of free textbooks among students up to the secondary level for the academic year 2018 on Saturday.
