Four construction workers sustained burn injuries in an explosion in the compressor room of a spinning and knitting mill under Kaliakoir upazila in Gazipur on Thursday.
The injured were identified as Ripon Hossain, Gulzar Miah, Shahed Miah and Jahirul Islam.
Local Fire Service sources said a group of workers was working by the compressor room of Apex Spinning and Knitting Mills Ltd at Purba Chandara around 10:00am when the explosion took place.
The injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the capital, reports UNB.
