Four people have been found dead with their throats slit at a paddy field under Shibganj upazila in Bogra this morning.
The dead, aged between 38 and 40 years old, could not be identified immediately, said Shahid Mahmud Khan, officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shibganj Police Station.
He said the bodies were already recovered and taken into custody after locals reported them near the upazila’s Dabir village.
All of the bodies had their throats slit and their hands tied behind their backs. They were wearing T-shirt, shirts and pants.
Police are investigating whether the victims were killed elsewhere and then dumped in the area, the OC said.
