At least four people of a family were killed and three others injured after a car collided with a bus in Gouripur upazila of Mymensingh on Friday.
The incident took place on the Mymensingh-Kishoreganj Highway in the upazila’s Ramgopalpur around 10:00am on Friday, according to the police.
The deceased were identified as Rafiquzzaman, 45, a textile mill owner, his wife Najmunnahar, 40, son Nadim, 25 and daughter Ronjahan, 15, of Netrakona district, according to local media reports.
“A person was killed on the spot and three others died after being taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital,” said Gouripur Police OC Kamrul Islam Mia.
