At least four people were killed and four others injured after a passenger bus hit an autorickshaw at Ghuingarhat area in Charfesson upazila of Bhola district on Thursday.
Sohag, 35, Aziz, 30, and Siraj, 25, died on the spot. Md Yousub, 50, succumbed to his injuries in the evening at Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital, reports UNB.
The injured are being treated at the Bhola Sadar Hospital and Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital, said the report.
The bus collided with the autorickshaw head-on, killing three men on the spot, Bhola Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Enayet Hossain said.
The bus driver escaped after the incident but agitated locals vandalised the vehicle and blocked the road for two hours.
Later, police seized the bus and took control of the situation.
