The government has approved four state-run new medical colleges in Naogaon, Netrokona, Magura and Nilphamari, according to Health Minister Mohammed Nasim.
Another medical college planned for Chandpur is awaiting approval from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Nasim said at a media briefing in Dhaka on Sunday, reports bdnews24.
As many as 250 students will be able to sign up for the 2018-2019 academic session in those colleges, he said.
