Four die in Narsingdi as two buses crash

Four people have been killed and at least 20 others injured after two buses crashed into each other in Narsingdi’s Shibpur.

The incident occurred on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in the Syednagar area at around 11:30 pm on Thursday night, said officer-in-charge of Shibpur Police Station Abul Kalam Azad.

Police have yet to reveal the identities of the victims.

Three people were killed on the spot, while another died in the hospital, the police official said.

At least 20 others were injured in the incident, bdnews24 reported.

Police went to the area and conducted rescue operations after receiving a report of the incident. The injured have been sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital for treatment.

Police have seized the two buses.
