At least four people died in a road accident in Porsha upazila of Naogaon district on Sunday.
Three others were also injured in the accident that occurred as a bus rammed an auto rickshaw and overturned it in the upazila’s Kushurpara area.
Three of the dead were identified as Kasna Village residents Abdul Salam, 50, Ashraful Islam, 42, and Hira Begum, 60.
The injured were admitted to Porsha Upazila Medical Complex for treatment, reports bdnews24.com.
Porsha Police Station OC Rafiqul Islam said the auto-rickshaw was going from Shoraigachi to Kasna when it was rammed from behind and overturned by a bus headed to Porsha.
"Two died on the spot. Five injured people were sent to the hospital with injuries and two of them died on the way," OC Rafiqul said.
