Four people were killed when the motorcycle they were on hit a roadside tree at Bholaria village in Katiadi upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased are Sabbir 23, Bipu, 22, Masud, 24, and Antor, 22, all hailing from the same village, reports UNB.
Jakir Rabbani, officer-in-charge of Katiadi Police Station, said the driver of the motorcycle hit a roadside tree after losing control of his bike around 10:00pm, leaving its three riders dead on the spot and one critically injured.
Later, the injured was rushed to Jahurul Islam Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead, the OC added.
