Four Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims die in Saudi road accidents

Four Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims died and nine others injured in separate road accidents in Saudi Arabia.

The dead are Julhas, 50, Rashed, 65, Abul Bashar, 65, and Rashedul Islam Babu, 55.

The injured are SM Abul Khayer, 41, Tarif Irtija, 12, Momtahin Islam, 18, Mosatara Akter, 43, Nazmul, 39, and Shafiul Alam, 36, reports bdnews24.

The other three injured are Mustarina Akhtar, Muntahin Islam and Zarif Iftejar.

The accidents occurred on Tuesday, according to family members and Bangladeshi migrants.

“We have received the news of the deaths in the accidents. We will take necessary steps to collect information,” said Maksudur Rahman, a hajj official at Bangladesh Consulate in Jeddah.
