MA Momen, a former executive director at The Financial Express, died of old-age complications in Dhaka on Friday morning. He was 81.
He had been suffering from various diseases including Parkinson for a long time.
Mr Momen is survived by his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
His namaaj-e-janaja was scheduled to be held at Uttara Sector-4 mosque on Friday afternoon before his burial at the Uttara graveyard.
Mr Momen was a career banker and served Pubali Bank and NCCBL in various capacities until his retirement.
He later joined The FE and served the country’s premier business daily for about 12 years.
