At least five people were killed as a bus and an auto bike collided head-on in front of Brac office at Bhanga intersection under Bhanga upazila in Faridpur on Wednesday morning.
Four of them are passengers of the human hauler and the fifth is its driver, said Ezazuddin, officer-in-charge of Bhanga Highway Police Station.
Police could identify only two of the dead immediately, reports UNB.
The dead are auto-bike driver Abul Hossian, 35, son of Seken Sheikh from Panchkul Maligram, and passenger Khaleda Begum, 25, wife of Shahidul Islam, from Chowdhury Kanda in Bhanga municipality.
