The government has relieved five Deputy Attorney Generals of their duties, according to a report on UNB.
The Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry issued a notification on Tuesday in this regard.
As per the notification, the appointment of Zahirul Haque Zahir, Abdullah Al Mamun, Jahangir Alam, Sheikh AKM Moniruzzaman Kabir and Manjur Quader was also cancelled.
