A fire broke out at a building named RK Tower in the capital’s Bangla Motor area on Saturday noon, according to the fire service media cell.
The blaze originated at about 12:20 pm on the fifth floor of the building, the media cell said.
Five units of the fire department are trying to douse the fire, it added.
The extent of the damage and cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
