Three shops were gutted in a fire at Madhubag in Dhaka’s Moghbazar area, said fire officials on Friday morning.
The fire broke out at 10:06 am, Lima Khanam, duty officer of the control room of the fire service and civil defence headquarters told The Financial Express.
Two units of the fire service brought the fire under control at 10:40 am, she said, adding that no one was injured in the incident.
The cause of the blaze could not be known immediately.
