Fire guts factory, six warehouses in Munshiganj

A factory and six warehouses were gutted as a fire broke out at Komolaghat Bandar in Mirkadam municipality of Munshiganj early Monday.

Zahurul Islam, a fireman at Munshiganj Fire Service, said the fire broke out at a plastic warehouse around 12:00am and soon engulfed the adjoining five other warehouses and a pulse factory.

On information, four firefighting units from Munshiganj and Srinagar rushed in and put out the fire, reports UNB.

However, it is not clear what caused the fire.
