Three warehouses were gutted in a fire which broke out at a cotton mill in Tongi of Gazipur city early Wednesday.
Atiqur Rahman, senior station officer of Tongi Fire Service station, said the fire broke out at a godown of the mill around 12 am and soon engulfed adjoining two others.
On information, five firefighting units rushed in and extinguished the blaze after two hours of frantic efforts, reports UNB.
The origin of the fire could not be known immediately.
