A fire broke out at Shilpa Bhaban adjacent to Bak Chattar in the capital’s Motijheel area on Sunday noon.
Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence media official M Rayhan told The Financial Express that the fire originated on the third floor of the building around 12:34 pm.
Three firefighting units rushed to the spot after receiving information and doused the fire instantly.
The reason for the blaze could not be known immediately.
No casualties were reported.
The extent of the damage is yet to be ascertained.
