A fire that broke out at a knitwear garments factory named 'Automation Knitwear' at Bangladesh Small & Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) industrial area in Fatullah has been brought under control.
The origin of the fire could not be known immediately, reports UNB.
On information, four fire fighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at 6:25pm which started around 4:44pm, said Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters Deputy Assistant Director (media cell) Shahjahan Sikder.
No casualties were immediately reported.
