The ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route of Padma River have resumed at 9am on Tuesday, after more than three hours of disruption caused by thick fog.
Sources said due to dense fog at the Paturia-Daulatdia route, the ferry services were disrupted from on Tuesday.
Different ferries in Paturia ghat and Daulatdia ghat remained stranded while hundreds of other vehicles were waiting in queue on both sides for crossing the river causing immense suffering to people, sources added.
When the dense fog was disappeared, the ferry services were resumed after 9am.
