Senior journalist and news editor of The Financial Express Abdullah M Hasan has been laid to rest today.
He was buried at Mirpur Martyred Intellectual Graveyard in Dhaka around 12 noon.
His first namaz-e-janaza was held at Takwa mosque in Dhanmondi and the second and last at National Press Club.
Colleagues and senior journalists, including Shah Husain Imam, editor of The Financial Express, were present during the namaz-e-janaza held on the club premises at 10:30am.
Leaders of Dhaka Union of Journalists and National Press Club were also present there, paying respects to the veteran journalist.
Earlier yesterday, Abdullah M Hasan passed away with Covid-19 at the age of 72 while undergoing treatment at the LabAid Hospital since July 04.
