Faridpur road crashes kill six including Indian

At least six people, including an Indian citizen, died and 22 others were injured in separate road accidents in the district on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Milon Molla, 26, and Chan Mia, 35, both are the residents of Shibchar in Madaripur.

Among the injured, Indian citizen Sushanta Manda, a resident of Barasha in India, died on the way to Faridpur Medical College and Hospital.

A bus of 'Eagle Paribahan' coming from Kolkata plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the wheels, said Senior Station Master of Faridpur Fire Service Md Saifuzzaman.

The road crash killed two people on the spot and injured 22 others, he said.

 A truck hit another brick-laden truck which was parked in Pulia Bazar area of Bhanga on Dhaka-Mawa-Khulna Highway around 9am, killing two people on the spot, UNB said citing officer-in-charge of Bhanga Highway Police Md Ezazuddin
