Two young men died in a road accident at Kanaipur on Dhaka-Khulna Highway in sadar upazila on Thursday night.
The accident took place when a motorcycle hit a parked covered van around 10 pm that left bike driver Rimon Mandol, 18, and pillion rider Rasel Talukdar, 20, dead on the spot.
On information, firefighters appeared at the spot and sent the bodies to hospital, said UNB citing M Saifuzzaman, station manager of Faridpur Fire Service and Civil Defence.
