A man was killed after being electrocuted at Mollakandi in Gopalganj sadar upazila on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Jashim Molla, 28, son of Aku Molla of Mollakandi village, reports UNB.
The incident took place when the victim came in touch with an electric fence setup to protect thieves from a fish enclosure, leaving him dead on the spot, said Sub-inspector Sajedur Rahman of Boultali Police Station.
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Golapganj General Hospital morgue for an autopsy, he added.
