The month-long Ekushey Grantha Mela ended on Saturday with a huge crowd and enthusiasm.
A total of 4,834 new books were launched at the fair.
On the last day of the event, 63 books were released, according to a Bangla Academy press release on Saturday.
Most of the books were related to literary works, it said.
Of the subjective books, maximum 1,608 poetic books hit the book fair, the statement added.
Like previous years, seminars, discussions and cultural events were held every day on the premises.
