An Ekattor Television employee has been killed after a bus crushed his motorcycle in Dhaka.
The man has been identified as 40-year-old Anwar Hossain, a marketing officer of the private television channel.
The accident took place at the Jahangir Gate area near Dhaka Cantonment at around 10:00 am on Saturday, police said citing his colleagues.
A bus crashed Anwar as he was heading from his home in Jigatala to office, said Abul Kalam Azad, Sub Inspector of Kafrul Police Station.
He was taken to Kurmitola General Hospital in critical condition, where he died at around 12:45 pm during the treatment, said Parvez Reza, a reporter of Ekattor TV.
The bus ran over his legs, bdnews24 reported.
Police have seized the bus and arrested its driver.
