Efforts are being made to bring back the two fugitives from Canada and the United States among the five self-proclaimed killers of the father of the nation, said Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen on Sunday.

He sought the cooperation of all Bangladeshis residing in the country and abroad to find other fugitive killers and to have them held for justice.

The foreign minister made the remarks responding to a question from the media while placing a floral wreath to the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Bangabandhu Corner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the morning.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Secretary, all senior officials of the ministry attended the event.

Later, the Foreign Minister, State Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Secretary planted saplings in the ministry premises on the occasion of National Mourning Day.

Senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs including the Secretary, Additional Secretary, and Director General participated in the mourning programmes.
