The government has extended the closure of all educational institutions except Qawmi madrasas until February 14 due to Covid-19 situation in the country, according to an education ministry statement issued on Friday.
Education Minister Dipu Moni announced the decision on Friday at a meeting after discussing the issue with all the concerned stakeholders.
As the coronavirus broke out in the country, the government on March 16 announced the closure of all educational institutions and extended it several times citing lack of improvements in the situation.
